CampStop exists to answer one question every van-lifer asks by mid-afternoon: where do we sleep tonight? We bring together every kind of overnight stop — free wild-camping spots, aires and sostas, full-service campgrounds, farm and vineyard pitches, and tolerated car parks — onto a single map with the details that actually matter: price, amenities, rules and honest reviews.

We're inspired by the tools that made van life possible — Park4Night, Campercontact, Campendium, iOverlander — and built around the same truth: the best directory is the one travellers build together. Today CampStop launches with 30 hand-curated spots across 6 countries to show the experience; the road ahead is community-contributed, moderated data kept fresh by the people who stay there.

Spots are community-sourced and illustrative — laws and facilities change on the ground, so always check local signage and rules before you stay, and travel responsibly. Leave every spot better than you found it, and it'll still be there for the next van.
